Sarah Bassett DVM
Dr. Sarah graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College, in scenic Prince Edward Island, in 1998. After two years of mixed animal practice in Midland ON, she decided that 3:00am calvings and wrestling huge bulls were not really her true calling. Dr. Sarah then moved to the London area to work at a small animal & exotics practice. In February 2011 Dr. Sarah joined our Caradoc Animal Clinic and has loved it ever since.
Dr. Sarah lives near Ailsa Craig on a family farm with husband Paul, and sons, Johnny and James. They have a large 4-legged family which keeps the boys (and adults) busy and entertained. On the farm there lives three dogs, three cats, three horses and two fish. The non-humans include Junior, the senior Jack Russell Terrier; Bea, the Bull terrier; Mr. Big, the German Shepherd; Mojo, Orangie and Turnip, the felines; and Bonnie, Rockstar and Bones, the equines. The hockey loving kids have named the fish Drew Doughty & Sid the Kid. Both boys love hockey, so most of Dr. Sarah's spare time is spent at various arenas around the area. Dr. Sarah loves coming into work at Caradoc Animal Clinic and seeing all the happy (and not so happy) patients and their people.
